Number 3 - Oreodonts
Oreodonts were perhaps the most abundant mammals ever to have roamed Nebraska. They appeared in Oliogene time and died out in Pliocene time. They resembled modern sheep or pigs and ranged in height from less than a foot to more than 3 feet.
