Number 54 - Humboldt Fault
The down-dropped rocks along the Humboldt Fault mark the eastern flank of the Nemaha Ridge in southeastern Nebraska. These subsurface features record a period of mountain building in Nebraska's geologic past.
You can order on-line a hardcopy of Resourceful Scenes from Past and Present, from the School's store ("Nebraska Maps and More"). The full publication is a two-page fold-open.
