Bob Diffendal Speaks at Imperial Grade School

On February 12, 2002, Bob Diffendal gave five presentations at the Imperial Public Schools. He spoke to Ms. Newman's and Ms. Dickey's second grade classes, as well as Marla Smith's eighth grade classes. Bob's presentations for the eighth graders concerned geologic hazards in Nebraska, as well as a few other locations within the United States. He talked about his visits to China with the second grade students.

Each year, Bob gives many talks to K-12 students and teachers. In addition, this year he is a member of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor's Speakers Bureau. As such, he frequently speaks to a variety of groups.

On several occasions, Bob has been a guest lecturer in China. Here, he shows a second grader a sample of Chinese money.
