44th Lincoln Gem and Mineral Club Show
CSD carries out much of its outreach activities through gem and mineral shows. This included the Lincoln Gem and Mineral Club's 44th Annual Show at Pershing Municipal Auditorium, in Lincoln, Nebraska, held on March 23-24, 2002. In addition to several displays and handouts, four CSD faculty participated. Robert M. Joeckel, Robert F. Diffendal, Jr. and Hannan LaGarry presented educational seminars and Roger K. Pabian served as show chair and CSD booth host.

CSD's displays promoted our gem and mineral-related resources, such as our web sites and publications. In addition, Lincoln Gem and Mineral Show visitors received about 1,000 Resource Scenes from Past and Present maps and approximately 100 of our poster-size 2002 calendars.
