Black-Tailed Prairie Dog Town Status Inventory and Habitat Evaluation

Abstract: 

This task order is issued under the purview of the Great Plains Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit Basic Agreement and provides for the cooperative effort to survey black-tailed prairie dog towns (PDTs) in eastern Wyoming to assess the accuracy of the mapping technique and evaluate the activity of the PDTs.  This joint effort will provide insight into the population status and distribution of this endangered species candidate animal.
