Abstract:  The study will examine the attitudes and actions of landowners concerning the recent feral hog invasion around and within Big Bend NP.  Participants in a survey will be landowners within a 100 mile radius of the park.  Landowners input will be through telephone interviews that address the estimated number of hogs on their property, what they are doing to control hog numbers, attitudes about hog eradication or control, and an understanding of feral hog impacts on the natural biota.
