Inventory of the Vertebrate Fauna of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area

Abstract:  The objective is to conduct a formal and comprehensive inventory of the vertebrate animals at Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Sulphur , Oklahoma .  Qualified zoologists will be used to conduct a systematic inventory of the vertebrate animals of the recreation area.  During the course of the field season, sampling sites will be established throughout the recreation area.  Sites will be stratified by vegetation type to ensure a representative sampling.  Both native-plant dominated and disturbed sites will be sampled.  Sampling will occur during spring and summer of 2003.
