Externships

Stressed Watershed IGERT trainees will receive training through an interdisciplinary curricula and externships with NGO, industry, and government partners responsible for adaptive management and recovery of the Platte River watershed in the Great Plains.

Externships will be focused on the Platte River watershed and other Great Plains watersheds, as well as comparative studies of Eastern European watersheds. This training will be enhanced with international exposure to the adaptive management of watersheds in Eastern Europe through the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Vienna, Austria.
