Rachael Wells

Hi, I’m Rachael Wells from Lincoln, Nebraska, and I’m an environmental studies major in the School of Natural Resources.

I chose this school because I had heard great things about it, and I chose my major because I have always been interested in environmental issues.

I may just be biased, but after hearing about other colleges from my friends, I am really glad that I chose this one. It seems like some of the other schools just let the students float on their own, but this one has advisors and other staff that actually care about each individual student.

Since I’ve only been here for two semesters, I haven’t had much experience with research opportunities or taken that many classes toward my major yet, but I really enjoyed learning about plants in General Botany.

The student organization I am involved in is Ecology Now.
