SNR Graduate Student Association Gathers Donations for Greensburg, Kansas

At around 9:45 pm CDT, on May 4, 2007, Greensburg, Kansas, was virtually destroyed by an F5 tornado. In response to this disaster, the School of Natural Resource's Graduate Student Association (SNRGSA) organized a donation drive to help the Greensburg victims.

Between May 5 and 16, SNR faculty, staff and students had donated a full pickup load of clothes, non-perishable food, baby supplies, children's toys and other miscellaneous items.

The SNRGSA serves as a representative body for SNR graduate students, promotes a closer relationship within the graduate student community, serves as a channel of communication between graduate students, faculty and staff, and fosters professional development.

Drs. Jim Brandle, Ed Harvey and Mark Kuzila serve as SNRGSA faculty advisors.
