September 5, 2005 Meeting Minutes

• Thank you notes
• Hardin Hall building updates
• Make changes to constitution regarding position changes:
  • Separate Secretary and Treasurer position
  • Secretary position will include website responsibilities
  • Treasurer will be Chair of the fundraising committee
• Budget: $527.97 left
• Fundraising:
  • Lincoln Value Book – book of coupons to be sold for $10/each
  • Bird Seed – Hardin SNR store agreed to sell it for us. Selling it at the Union may also be an option.
  • State money cannot be used to buy refrigerators or microwaves for Hardin Hall. Money from fundraisers may be used to buy such appliances. Perhaps sales at fundraisers will increase if people know what the money is going to be used for.
  • Designing and selling SNRGSA t-shirts. Logo contest. Need a supplier with cheap printing rates.
• Katrina Relief Fundraiser at the Rococo:
  • September 15, from 5-11pm
  • Chris Logger Band/The Balance and more
  • Donation requests of $5 will go to the Red Cross
  • Volunteers needed
• Award nominations for excellent faculty members at SNR requested
• GSA Felt board - possible designs requested
• Additional meetings for SNRGSA committee members will be held on the third Tuesday of every month
