Truman Scholarship
The Truman Scholarhisp is for students in any discipline who have a strong record of public service and have career goals working in the public sector.
The Truman Scholarship is a $30,000 merit-based grant awarded to undergraduate students, who wish financial support to attend graduate or professional school in preparation for careers in government, the non-profit sector or elsewhere in public service.
Truman Criteria
Candidates must be in the upper quarter of their junior class and be nominated by the university's Truman Faculty Representative. The Truman Foundation is looking for candidates who have extensive records of public and community service, are committed to careers in government or elsewhere in public service, and have outstanding leadership potential and communication skills.
Deadlines

- National Deadline: February 2, 2010
