Many of the maps presented herein are based on registered well logs and test hole logs that are publically available on-line, which become more valuable when compiled, analyzed, and discussed. The book and an accompanying CD containing the data files used to make the figures contained in the book are both available, $14.00 each. Purpose of Files on CD: The files provided on the compact disc include the data files used to make the figures presented in the Groundwater Atlas of Lancaster County, Nebraska. The GIS files provided are those that were generated by the author. Other GIS information that appears in the figures but is not original to this publication (such as roads, streams, and cities) can be downloaded from their original sources and are not included on this CD. In addition to the data files, this CD provides electronic versions of the geologic cross sections saved at their original scale with borehole names as labels. A short description of the fields in the GIS attribute tables is also included, as well as the electronic version of the Groundwater Atlas of Lancaster County, Nebraska.
