Leaflets are 2.5 - 5" long ovate/elliptic-oblong, the lateral leaves are oblique at the base while the middle is not. The leaves are dark green on the upper side and glabrous on the underside. Oil glands can be seen on the underside if magnified.
Compound - Pinnate
Dark gray and mostly smooth with the exception of protuberances.
Conical, sessile, under the petiole base, paired.
Reddish brown and glabrous, there is a large pith and horseshoe shaped leaf scars.
greenish/white unisex 1/3 - 1/2" diameter flowers in dense clusters
Indehiscent samara, brown in color, 2 sided and broadly winged.
