Vendor
A vendor can be a manufacturer and/or a business that sells the item in the inventory.
Generic Instrument
A generic instrument is example of a type of instrument with attributes of
- Manufacturer
- Model Number
There can be many instances of generic instruments in the SPECIFIC INSTRUMENT.
Specific Instrument
A specific instrument is an unique instance of a generic instrument. It has atrributes of
- Serial Number (real or created)
- Owner(s)
- History and Current Location
- Calibration (opt.)
