Exotech Radiometer - Calibration

Calibration Introduction

Measurements from the Exotech are in voltages for each channel. If the intended results from a research question is reflectance factors and the same instrument is used to measure the reflected and incoming radiant energy components the units of volts would be acceptable.  However, if different instruments are used or the research question is to find the actual amount of energy that is being measured, the Exotech  must be calibrated and data converted to units such as Watts per square meter  (per steradian).

Currently, calibrations are completed by the manufacturer.
