Examples of Educational Modules, Databases and Web Programming

As my career has shifted from true meteorological endeavors to web and software programming, I laugh thinking about the FORTRAN class I had in my sophomore year of college. The instructor, not a professor, was new to teaching and provided such poor instruction that I vowed that I would never work with another computer. How that has changed. I taught myself PASCAL, then Visual Basic and Visual Basic for Applications, and now I am moving it to the realm of SQL server, ASP.NET, Sharepoint. Most of the work is like looking a thousands of pieces of a puzzle that have no picture. How will it best work and how does it look?

Besides my normal work lode, I do a few other things. I volunteer my time as a webmaster for a Montessori School south of Lincoln, PRAIRIE HILL Learning Center and the Lincoln Civic Choir. I also design lights on a regular basis for the Lincoln Community Playhouse. And once in a blue moon I pick up a job caning chairs; something my mom taught me.
