Inclusive Natural Resources Education
March 23 & 24, 2022
Your Host
The School of Natural Resource is the home to five undergraduate degree programs and eight graduate specializations. The Fisheries and Wildlife undergraduate program has tripled in size in the past 15 years and the rapid growth has created an incubator for innovative teaching and learning opportunities. In 2020, the School added new degree programs in Environmental Science and Regional & Community Forestry. The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources has been a leader in global education, student success planning, and student-centered programming.
The Venue
You are invited to join us online for a virtual conference experience! Our goal is to reach a large audience in keeping with our theme "Inclusive Natural Resources Education." Our strategy is to reduce costs and use flexible programming to allow you to network with other educators and take away very practical ideas that you can immediately incorporate into learning experiences!
Exploring Nature
Conference attendees will have access to world-class naturalists who will lead virtual explorations of amazing experiences in Nebraska’s great outdoors. Join us to view “one of the Earth’s greatest migrations” (Smithsonian Magazine) along the Platte River. Waterfowl, whooping cranes, and over 600,000 sandhill cranes combine for a visual and auditory sensation that you will not forget.
Design
We are currently accepting proposals for workshops or symposia for the 2-day conference. Contact conference organizers with your ideas!
