Scholarships & Funded Research

School of Natural Resources Scholarships

All students seeking a degree in Applied Climate Science, Environmental Science, Fisheries & Wildlife, Regional & Community Forestry or Water Science and have completed at least 24 credit hours by the end of a Spring Semester are qualified for all of the School of Natural Resources Scholarships listed below with the completion of the Current SNR Student Scholarship Application. Application is due May 15th.

Other School of Natural Resources scholarships may require separate applications forms to be completed. They may also have specific dates that applications need to be submitted.

College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) Scholarships

Funded Research

School of Natural Resource students have a varity of ways to gain experience doing research. Some students will work or volunteer for a faculty member in a lab, while others can receive funding through University specific programs. Click on the programs below to learn more about past research projects and how to apply.

Fellowships

Fellowships fall into many categories. Some provide funding to support attending graduate school; some others allow students to study or to conduct research overseas to gain practical experience in her/his field of study. While many fellowships are for graduate and PhD students, a few are available for undergraduate study.
