Assistantships - Benefits (Graduate Students)

Assistantships provide students with income, tuition remission (12 credit hours per semester, and up to 12 in the summer, depending on stipend amount paid August through May), and health insurance at a reduced rate. Health coverage for the fall semester is from August 1 through December 31 and for the spring semester is January 1 through July 31. More information can be found at: https://health.unl.edu.
