Communication in SNR

There multiple ways to communicate and multple things we want to communicate; there must be a balance of accessibility for this intersection.

If someone can interract with the piece of information then it has to be accessible. For example, if the item is only displayed on digital signage, it does not have to be accessible. If the item is on the web and someone can download it, it has to be accessible.

Ways to Communicate

Hardcopy (Print)

Printed material can be posted throughout Hardin Hall. Flyers are common examples.

This types of materials CANNOT be coverted to image formats such as jpg or png files. Image files for other methods of communcation deliver CANNOT contain any text.

Digital Signage

These should be in Landscape Format (Widescreen) to effectively use the maximum space on the screen. (16:9 ratio)

Portrait Format content should be placed on a landscape background, otherwise the information/image will be distorted. [link to suitable landscape background]

  • Mark Mesarch - Events and awards
  • IANR Media/UCOMM - all types of stories. Please contact Mark Mesarch if you are having one of these outlets write a story so that we do no duplicate their efforts.
