Membership Criteria
The community engagement committee shall be composed of four faculty and four staff. Committee members shall be elected for staggered two-year terms and may serve two consecutive terms. The social committee shall select a chair and co-chair annually, with the understanding that the co-chair will serve as chair the following year.
The committee shall coordinate the monthly birthday bash/welcome and farewell for employees/students (held during the academic year); the pot luck dinners held once each semester, during which the director announces the recipient of the staff award; and special requests from the director. The committee shall be responsible for annually reviewing/revising SNR social fund guidelines, and announcing/coordinating the above events.
