My Story

Alex started a post doctorate position in the Science Literacy group in the Fall of 2023.

The most relevant work he has have done is related to the Story Behind the Science project.

Within that project, he has been a part of the team developing resources for teaching learners how to spot "red flags" that represent strategies commonly utilized by purveyors of mis/disinformation. More broadly, my work has targeted the Nature of Science and how an understanding of it interacts with decision-making and trust within socioscientific issues.
