My Story

Hi, I’m Sean Kruse. I am a research/drillers assistant for the Conservation and Survey Division here at UNL. My main duties include assisting our field and service coordinator with operating geological drills and probes to obtain samples for CSD. My main interests in this field are groundwater resources and the geology of Nebraska. I accepted this position to learn more about the field I am in and continue my education to better aid in our team’s mission. I graduated from UNL in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in environmental science, including a double minor in fisheries and wildlife and water science. My goal with this degree is to one day provide clean drinking water to those in need, and better utilize groundwater resources to maximize potential.
