My Story
Hi, I'm Nakita. I’m working as a Geology Research Specialist with the Luminescence Lab and the Great Plains Cooperative Ecosystems Study Unit.
Though I am born and raised in the Great Plains, I began developing an interest in geology when I was a young kid (AKA sidewalk rock collecting).
Much of my work involves producing surficial geologic maps.
Fun fact: I want to compete on Wheel of Fortune one day.
