My Story

My name is Jake Harvey, and I am currently working on my MS in Applied Ecology in the Benson Lab. My research is exploring mountain lion diet, space use, and energetics in the human-dominated landscape of California’s San Francisco North Bay. My passion for wildlife began in my hometown of Russell, Pennsylvania as I grew up recreating in the Allegheny National Forest. In my free time, you can find me mountain biking or hunting.

Read a more in in-depth story about Jake from 11/3/2022.
