Bolivian Wetland Water Reserves Studied as Glaciers Melt

Trenton Franz is working with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nation (FAO) as an expert on the use of the Cosmic-Ray Neutron Sensor to monitor soil moisture in alpine environments in the Andes and Himalayas. Trenton’s role will be developing and leading training efforts on-line and in-person as well as leading expeditions to various countries in the both regions. The first expedition to Bolivia was recently completed.
