School of Natural Resources Scholarships
All students seeking a degree in Applied Climate Science, Environmental Science, Fisheries & Wildlife, Regional & Community Forestry or Water Science and have completed at least 24 credit hours by the end of a Spring Semester are qualified for all of the School of Natural Resources Scholarships listed below with the completion of the Current SNR Student Scholarship Application. Application is due May 10th.
Other School of Natural Resources scholarships may require separate applications forms to be completed. They may also have specific dates that applications need to be submitted.
College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) Scholarships

- Extreme Terrain Scholarship
Awarded twice a year to students who are pursuing a Biology or a related degree in Environmental Studies / Natural Resources. - Women in Conservation Science Scholarship
Advances conservation by encouraging and supporting female undergraduate and graduate students pursuing studies related to natural resource conservation. - Brady M. Boyd Wildlife Management Scholarship
Advances conservation through education for graduating high school students and current college students. - Goldwater Scholarship
Scholarships to college sophomores and juniors who intend to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering. - TREE Fund Scholarships
Scholarships for undergraduate students who aspire to careers in arboriculture, urban forestry and related fields. - National Garden Clubs Scholarship
Financial aid to students majoring in fields of study related to horticulture and the environment / natrual resources. - National Association of Interpretation (Heartland Region)
Scholarships for travel and registration of National Conferences - Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Wildlife Leadership Award/Scholarship

Funded Research
School of Natural Resource students have a varity of ways to gain experience doing research. Some students will work or volunteer for a faculty member in a lab, while others can receive funding through University specific programs. Fellowships
Fellowships fall into many categories. Some provide funding to support attending graduate school; some others allow students to study or to conduct research overseas to gain practical experience in her/his field of study. While many fellowships are for graduate and PhD students, a few are available for undergraduate study.
